Tuesday 27 June 2006, Royal College of Art
Innovation Night is an annual event at the Royal College of Art that gives RCA business and research partners the opportunity to meet the innovators of the future.
On show in 2006 was the work of graduating RCA students from the Schools of Architecture and Design, Communications, Fashion and Textiles, and Humanities. In addition there were four prestigious award events to attend and a review of the second year of InnovationRCA, the College's innovation network for graduates and business partners of the College.
At the heart of the evening there was a rare chance to hear RCA alumnus James Dyson talk about the business of innovation. Dyson outlined his philosophy of integrating design and engineering, drawing on the experience of British industry over the past 50 years, and warned of the threat of China to the future of innovation in the UK.
Innovation Night was organised by InnovationRCA.
