Jeremy Myerson is the Helen Hamlyn Professor of Design at the Royal College of Art and Director of the College's Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design. He was Director of InnovationRCA from 2004 to 2009. He is a member of the College's Senior Management Team.

A leading author, academic and activist in the field, Jeremy Myerson developed his interest in design and innovation as a journalist and editor working on a number of titles including Design, Creative Review and World Architecture. From 1986-89, he was Founding Editor of Design Week, the world's first weekly news magazine for designers and their clients.

He is the author of many books on design, business and society, including The 21st Century Office, IDEO: Masters of Innovation and New Public Architecture. His latest book, New Demographics New Workspace, is published by Gower in May 2010.

He has curated many national exhibitions, including Doing A Dyson at the Design Museum and Rewind: 40 years of Design and Advertising at the V&A, and he consults with business and government organisations around the world.

He is a Board member of the Design Council and a Trustee of the Audi Design Foundation and the Gordon Russell Trust. He holds degrees from Hull University and the Royal College of Art.
