Easy Plugs

Easy plugs is a attractivel set of colourful bathroom  plugs designed to be easy to use by all. The set consists of a plug for the wash basin and a second one for the bathtub.

The Easy Plugs set was designed by Maja Ganszyniec, graduate of the Royal College of Art's Design Products department.   

Both sides of the Easy Plugs are curved, allowing the user to plug a basin or bathtub easily without having to position the plugs exactly into the plughole or having to squeeze and pinch to position or remove the plugs. The advantage of this curved feature is that users with impaired vision, fine motor skills problems and with arthritis can more easily cope with wash and bath-time independently.

The bathtub Easy Plug consists of the main plug attached by a fine line to a brightly coloured floating plug that is visible on the water's surface. This not only allows plugging in and out without the need to lean and stretch over the bathtub, but also is an extra safety feature for an overflow.

The elegant designs have attracted considerable interest and we are exploring ways of bringing them to market.
