Flat Pack Hats

Flat pack hats are magnificent hats that can be configured flat for easy transport and storage and then simply transformed back into wearable headwear by the user.

This beautiful range of hats, designed by Zara Gorman, MA Millinery graduate of the Royal College of Art, is based on a patent-pending technique which allows the hats to be transformed from flat compact configurations which are easy to store or carry into highly desirable wearable hats.

The technique allows for simple manufacture methods using an endless range of materials (leather, felt, cashmere and so on) and results in endless array of fashionable designs.

Zara Gorman, tipped as one to watch at Milan Fashion week, is developing a range of couture and prêt a porter hats based on the technology and is interested in hearing from commercial partners.
