Royal Designers to mentor on FuelRCA
FuelRCA, the College-wide professional practice service run by InnovationRCA, has set up a creative mentoring programme for College students and alumni with the Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry (RDI).
Established in 1936, the RDI is part of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). Its members are distinguished figures from the fields of engineering, product design, fashion and textiles, graphics, theatre, film and more.
Now, for the first time ever, the Faculty has agreed to work directly with an art and design institution – the Royal College of Art – and a pilot scheme is underway for RDIs to mentor students and alumni on topics ranging from reviewing career options to building confidence and managing a studio team.
